Our Technicians

DONALD CARMICHAEL

Donald has been involved in the Canadian audio industry for the past 30 years. His experience includes: Product Managment and Development with Teac Canada, developing products such as the DA88 and various portable recording systems; System Design Engineer with Jason Sound Industries in developing and manufacturing large format touring systems and remote recording systems; and, as a repair technician for many of the consoles and equipment implemented by Jason Sound and Tascam digital products; and as a studio technician in the Vancouver area.

 DARIN SIROVYAK

Darin has been recognized in the Vancouver audio industry for the past 30 years as a studio technician, with experience in dealing with SSL and Studer products, as well as various large format 2" tape machines.  He has also been recognized as the head engineer for IZ Technologies, the design company for the Radar 24 track digital recording systems. He has been in charge of designing high quality A/D and D/A converter systems as well as designing the on-board converter cards for the Radar 24 track system.

 MELANIE CARMICHAEL

Melanie has been involved in project and account managment for the past 15 years. She has extensive experience in large scale operations and small business guidance. She comes with a wealth of knowlegde to help guide and create a business model to increase support capacity to the Group Audio's clientelle.
